Visa Registration Task
Conditions of your Student Visa
Working Hours
I recognise that the main purpose for me being in the UK is to study. I must adhere to the limit on working hours set by the Home Office, which I acknowledge to be a condition of my permission to remain in the UK.
If you are following a Bachelor’s or Master’s at NQF Level 6 or above, the following work is allowed:
- Part-time during term time, which is no more than 20 hours a week;
- Full-time during vacation periods
If you are following an International Foundation Course or pre-sessional course at NQF level 4 the following work is allowed:
- Part-time during term-time, which is no more than 10 hours a week;
- Full-time during vacations
You must ensure your visa has the correct work entitlement endorsed on it. If this is incorrect, you should get it corrected before you start working.
Attendance
I acknowledge that my attendance is monitored and I must attend every point of expected contact, attend all my examinations and submit required work on time and in the correct way. I must adhere to the attendance monitoring requirements set by the Â鶹´«Ã½AV and scan the QR code provided in class and scan my ID card in person when required.
All term-time absences must be authorised, and they will only be authorised if you provide compelling evidence, eg medical evidence from a UK GP, proving that you unable to attend. Prolonged authorised absence will result in you needing to interrupt your studies and the Â鶹´«Ã½AV will need to withdraw Student sponsorship. You should not travel outside the UK during term time without permission, this will be approved only in exceptional circumstances, you will need to provide evidence and agree to return on an agreed date.
Academic Engagement
I acknowledge that failing one or more modules can affect my Student visa, so it's very important I do all I can to pass first time. A failed module might delay my course completion, impacting my ability to receive my final award and apply for the Graduate Route before my Student visa expires. The failure of one or more modules can also cause a gap in my studies, which may mean I have to return to my home country temporarily and apply for a new visa to return to complete my course at a later date.
Changes in circumstance
I acknowledge that I must advise the Â鶹´«Ã½AV and the UKVI of any change to my personal circumstances, including any change to my contact details or immigration status. I must provide my passport and visa when required by the Â鶹´«Ã½AV.
Address
I understand that I should not live more than one hour away in travelling time from my Â鶹´«Ã½AV campus. I must provide the Â鶹´«Ã½AV with my current UK address and telephone number and email address.
Declaration
Please be aware that failure to adhere to the conditions attached to your visa may result in the Â鶹´«Ã½AV withdrawing visa sponsorship and removing you from the Â鶹´«Ã½AV register. It will also result in any further CAS requests being denied.
By registering on your course, you are confirming that you are aware of the conditions attached to your visa, including, but not limited to, those stated above. You are confirming that you shall adhere to them throughout your stay in the UK.
