Dr Suzanne Murphy, Chief Investigator
Dr Suzanne Murphy is a developmental psychologist based at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV, and chief investigator on the E-PLAYS project. She has a particular interest in children's social development and its relationship with physical and mental health.
Professor Victoria Joffe
Victoria Joffe is ÌýProfessor in Speech and Language Therapy and Dean of the School of Health and Social Care at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV of Essex. Previously, she was the Academic Director, International and Professor in the Enhancement of Child and Adolescent Language and Learning at City, Â鶹´«Ã½AV of London.

Professor David Messer is an Emeritus Professor at the Open Â鶹´«Ã½AV, and visiting Professor at City Â鶹´«Ã½AV London and London South Bank Â鶹´«Ã½AV.
His interests include the use of technology to support children’s language, literacy and cognitive development.

Professor David Torgerson
Professor David Torgerson is Director of the York Trials Unit based at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV of York.
David works across the social sciences developing policy trials (including educational trials) and is an expert in trial methodology.

Sarah is a Professor in Cultural-Developmental Psychology at the Open Â鶹´«Ã½AV. Her academic interests lie in the area of migration, diversity, language and the development of identities with a focus on children, young people and families.

Ms Caroline Fairhurst
Ms Caroline Fairhurst is a senior statistician based at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV of York.
She currently leads statistical support on a number of trials at the York Trials Unit in the fields of health, education and the social sciences.

Dr Erica Cook
Dr Erica Cook is a Senior Lecturer in Health Psychology. Her work is focused on the intersection of Public Health and Health Psychology with a particular interest in improving health outcomes for marginalised and socially disadvantaged communities.
