Senior Lecturer in Strategy

Eliot joined our Â鶹´«Ã½AV in 1996 as a lecturer in Sport Studies and transferred to the department of Strategy and HRM in 2001. He currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Strategy.

He has been responsible for delivering core undergraduate units in strategy and also delivers a unit on the CMI programme.

In addition, he is one of the team delivering the level 1 core business programme.

Previous Experience

Eliot worked in management positions for Office Cleaning Services in London and the British Council.

In the latter he was responsible for delivering and coordinating a sponsorship package to British businesses underwriting the English Shakespeare Company tour of India.

In 1993 he studied for an MSc in Sport Science at the Â鶹´«Ã½AV of Sheffield and after its completion worked as a part time lecturer in Sport Studies at Sheffield before taking up the post of BTEC coordinator and Sport Studies lecturer at New College Swindon.

Research Interests

• Using the Balanced Scorecard to improve the delivery of taught modules
• Development of short course programmes in designing Balanced Scorecards for small businesses
