Â鶹´«Ã½AV

This project, supported by the European Union, promoted staff exchanges between Taras Shevchenko National Â鶹´«Ã½AV of Kyiv, Ukraine (TSNUK) and the Centre for Research in English Language Learning (CRELLA), Â鶹´«Ã½AV, UK (UB) and the opportunity for five students from TSNUK to visit UB to study Applied Linguistics with a focus on language pedagogy and assessment.

This staff and student mobility project has benefitted both HEIs by:

• Helping both HEIs achieve the objectives of their respective internationalisation strategies.
• Giving young researchers in the UK opportunities to teach in a foreign university
• Building the expertise of Ukrainian teachers and prospective teachers in language
• Developing research networks
• Giving students from both countries opportunities for cultural and linguistic exchange
