It allowed participants a distraction free time to write, speak to and seek feedback from other colleagues. The event was specifically aimed at writing collaborative papers for external publication.

Dr Syam Rasaratnam acted as a facilitator, as well as arranging and managing the writing retreat. Several members of Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV staff participated in the event.

Professor Teerooven Soobaroyen

Professor Teerooven Soobaroyen, Professor of Accounting from the Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV of Essex, was invited as a speaker.

The event was very successful and Ied to the development of several joint papers among the participants.
